Christina Neubauer is a freelance writer, communications expert and word nerd living in Perth, Western Australia. Her writing focuses on travel, sustainability, gender and culture in various print and online publications.

Christina is a regular contributor for Discordia, an alternative media for women and People on Bicycles, a community platform debating and promoting the culture of cycling in Australia.

Christina graduated from Macquarie University in Sydney in 2005 with a Masters of Arts in International Communication. She has worked extensively in the non-profit industry and government sector while also pursuing her creative writing career.

Christina was born in Germany and migrated to Australia in 2003. She has roamed her adopted home extensively, which led to her first ebook, the travel guide Road trip around Australia: essential trips for your travel adventure. The book was inspired by her 18 month journey around Australia and was published by boutique online publisher Collca in 2012.

Christina has won an Emerging Writer Residency with the Fellowship of Australian Writers Western Australia (FAWWA) in 2012, held a series of social media and blogging workshops for FAWWA and continues to write and travel.
